The iron mine of the village of HERZNACH CH has been a popular place known all over Europe where so many different varieties of fossils had been found.

Those layers found in Herznach proofed to be not weather worn and contain a big variety of Amonits than nowhere else.

Since 1968, the mine has been closed and is not accessible anymore to anyone.

The Knecht Collection is unique and holds approximately 400 specimen.

All of them in top quality and condition (some pieces contain minerals) and all of them to be found in Herznach.
